installation and live performance with soundtrack

In the live performance five passengers can be seen on the hull of a sinking ship. The wooden structure of the ship’s hull has holes through which mist is rising up, the construction is in a imaginary hovering state. In the background of the installation we see a projection of a larger than life tab, which is turned on once every minute. When that happens the performers awaken from their rigidity and turn around to face the projection. Once the tap is turned off again, they return to their original position. The scene is accompanied by a soundtrack of waves and orchestral music. The visitors are drawn into a maelstrom of expectation and disappointment.
